| Saw you by chance at Warwick: you blew my metaphorical socks off (I was wearing sandals). Brilliant performance, outstanding thought-provoking songs, how have I never come across you before? I'm now officially a fan. |

| The performance at Godiva was absolutely fabulous! The closest thing to a proper 4th July celebration I've had in years. Thank you for helping make it such a special day! |

Dear CQ, really enjoyed the show at Godiva today.
I requested 'The Bell' and you did it for me, fantastic, thank you so much. 'Watching Feathers Fall' was, again, very moving. See you soon. Cropredy next month, it won't be as good without you there. Very best wishes, Martin |

| guys - not seen you for a while until today at Godiva. Brilliant as usual. Looking forward to the new album and Gerry's 'solo' album. Was good to meet you after and 'the tallest girl in the crowd' is looking forward to replacing The Wizard of Oz with the ColvinQuarmby DVD - thanks for giving it to her - a really nice touch. Its the third time she has seen the 'shaky hands man' (as she affectionately knows Gerry as) and was a bit too shy to ask for the 'Saving up my money' song - which is her favourite from the old days. Thanks again. |

| A bit belatedly - thanks for the Cromer gig from one of the 'rich ones' on the balcony! A definite highlight of the festival, you must have been a very hard act to follow. Great fun and great songs. |

| Hi, just wanted to say 'what a great show on the Pier!' Saw you for the first time last year, have been raving about you ever since and have been sooooooo looking forward to this year. Left the theatre with tears of happiness in my eyes and feeling so glad to be alive. Thank you, the best 'live act' in the country if not the universe, awesome! |

Hello-I'd just like to say thank you for a wonderful set at Cromer. My favourite numbers were "The Bell" which is a great rock anthem full of emotion and "Ocean" which made me cry. See you all soon

Hi guys. What a show yesterday in Cromer. You get better and better, just like a bottle of fine claret. Ocean followed by Feathers had me weeping, thank you. Glad you liked the shirt, by the way!
Hope to see you again soon. |

What can we say? It was a weekend full of laughter, good company, fine ale and food and best of all, a pleasure to play for lots of lovely people. Keep an eye on the website for a video of a prticularly funny moment at the Moorcock Inn near Carperby......
Thanks so much to those who have felt moved enough to write on here, and thanks to the venues and the teams there who worked so hard to make this weekend so successful. A special thanks to the sound guys: Richard, Nat and John; and all the lovely people who put us up.
We'll see you all soon!!!
Love
Marion

We came over the road to see you on Thursday night at the Cinnamon Club with no expectations really. I went to school with Al up to 1977 and we used to go out 'clubbing' together. Rock night at Cezannes in Altrincham on Tuesdays pretending to be over 18! he left the area in '77 so I hadn't seen him for 33 years!
I'd read on Al's Facebook page that CQ were playing so took the opportunity to come along. Well what a tremendous night!, brilliant melodies, inspired words that made you think! , (Gerry, how you fitted the Icelanic banking crisis in to that song was something to behold!) and the best playing I've seen in a long time especially as the last gig I went to was The Fall at the Academy lol! Gerry's passion was intoxicating, no it wasn't just the beer! :)
A real pleasure to meet you guys especially Nigel! and so great to see Al after all these years. Thanks and we will watch out for the next visit! Love to all and thank you.
x
